Wageningen UR cordially invites professors, applied researchers, managers, policy makers and PhD-students interested in the management of chains and networks to present and discuss their most recent advances in science and business. WICaNeM 2012 offers both open, paper-based sessions, and sessions in specific tracks. Scholars and practitioners are also encouraged to propose new tracks around specific topics of interest and to invite their networks to attend. Tracks will run in smaller or larger format, dependent on submissions and wider popularity. The following tracks are currently being organized:

Conference theme tracks:

• Multi-Stakeholder Engagements, Resources and Value Creation (Linked to IFAMR Special Issue)  

• Managing Sustainability in Seafood Production and Markets

• Innovation Intermediaries, Clusters and Valleys

• Managing Cradle-to-Cradle (C2C) Systems

General theme tracks:

• Resource Risk Management

• Producer Organisations in AgriFood Chains

• Entrepreneurship, Partnerships and Regional Development

• Economic Institutions of the Agri-Food Sector

• Marketing and Consumer Behaviour

• Values, Relations and Competitiveness in Food Chains

Project-based tracks:

• Co-innovation for Quality in African food chains (CoQA)

• Networking for innovation in food SMEs (NetGrow project)

• Bio-refinery, Green Technology, and Bio-based Business

• Pork Supply Chains (Q-porkchain project)
